The Offer on Hand-Poured Dice
Tumbled plastic dice from mass-market board game boxes are rounded in ceramic vibratory tumblers. That process rounds the vertexes unevenly, leaving some faces broader than their opposing mates. The result is an uncontrolled roll bias that players feel during critical skill checks and combat rolls. We do not stock mass-run acrylic tumbleware.
Every polyhedral set and D6 collection in our Portland inventory is cast inside pressure chambers at 45 PSI, forcing air bubbles out of the liquid resin before cure. The castings are lapped by hand on micro-grit silicon carbide sheets across seven grades, preserving razor-sharp zero-radius edges and planar faces. Numerals are micro-engraved into each face before hand-inking with opaque gold or burnished silver enamel.
Sets are supplied either in machined aluminum ingot cases with dense closed-cell EVA foam beds or brushed tin tins with magnetic clasps, protecting edge sharpness from bag collision during transit.
